Experience
  • Prior to teaching, I had the honor of coaching and mentoring young ladies for 9 years in Tallahassee, Fl at both Swift Creek Middle School and Godby High School. During that time I also served as a student assistant at Swift Creek Middle School in the Extended Day Program while completing my formal education at Florida State University. The 2017-2018 James A. Shanks Middle School academic year will mark my third year as a 6th grade Reading and Language Arts teacher. I am pleased to be serving as your child's ELA instructor, and look forward to helping them expand their vocabulary, their reading and writing abilites, and their minds.
